  • Beschrijving: A draper, Eftychios Kopeoglou, marries his employee Kiki, despite the objections of his mother, Mrs. Polyxeni. Panagiotis, the neighbourhood butcher, who is also in love with Kiki, decides to produce a film with Kiki as the leading actress. Jealous Eftychios, facing his wife’s persistence, agrees in the end to let her act in the film and, even more, he promises to keep their marriage a secret so that it won’t stand in the way of her career. It won’t be long, however, before he realizes how foolish he had been to give his consent, especially when Kiki gets pregnant and, following the the script, must marry her co-star. Their separation is now inevitable, but after the total failure of the film and Kiki’s crash landing, the couple get back together for good.
